Banner Witcoff attorneys Scott M. Kelly, Katie Laatsch Fink, and Kirk Sigmon will speak at the 2019 Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) Global M&A Summer Conference, which takes place July 15-17 in Chicago.
Scott, Katie, and Kirk will lead a July 17 panel titled, “More than a Checked-Box: Intellectual Property and How it Matters to Your Deals.” They will discuss the basics of IP, explain how IP can add or subtract value to deals, and provide practical steps for parties on the buy-side, sell-side, or anywhere in between.
Scott will also speak on a July 16 panel titled, “Working the Value Levers: Creating Shareholder Value Before the Deal.” This panel will examine a range of value levers, including business and operating models, as well as the people, processes, and technologies that drive them.
