Part of Thomson Reuters, Super Lawyers is a directory of U.S. attorneys selected through peer nominations and evaluations and third-party research. According to the ranking service, the Super Lawyers list recognizes no more than 5 percent of attorneys in each state, and the Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. To be eligible for the Rising Stars list, attorneys must be either 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
