Rebecca has a diverse practice in intellectual property law with a particular emphasis on patent prosecution and litigation. She leverages her background in electrical engineering and her experience working in-house to craft forward-thinking solutions to help clients meet their goals.
Prior to attending the George Washington University Law School, Rebecca managed patent law matters for a global company in the field of telecommunications technology in China. In this role, she drafted patent applications, reviewed outside counsel’s work, managed patent portfolios and collaborated with technical experts to conduct competition analysis and devise business strategies.
Rebecca earned a Juris Master’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in electronical engineering and computer science from Peking University in Beijing, China, before attending the George Washington University Law School. During law school, Rebecca served as a member of the Law Review and a contracts law tutor. She also participated in moot court competitions. Rebecca graduated from law school with highest honors.
Rebecca took the bar exam to be admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and is awaiting results.
