Jay R. Bombien counsels clients on all types of patent-related matters while focusing on securing patent rights in electrical, computer, and mechanical technologies including medical imaging systems, autonomous driving, factory automation, wireless communication systems, semiconductor devices and fabrication, printing systems and devices, electronic displays and driving circuitry, medical and biomedical devices, automotive control systems, and magnetoresistive devices.
In this role, Jay prepares and prosecutes utility and design patent applications in the United States and internationally for a broad range of clients, from independent inventors and start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Jay regularly conducts analysis and drafting of non-infringement, patentability, and validity opinions. Jay also conducts IP due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions and advises clients in association with IP litigation.
