Banner & Witcoff is granted motion to dismiss on behalf of their client, by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia granted SAIC’s motion to dismiss a complaint filed by a former employee. The former employee had sued SAIC, a Banner & Witcoff client, for various alleged violations of copyright, trade secret, trademark, and related business torts. The ruling brings to a close the lawsuit involving allegations that SAIC had misappropriated technology purportedly developed by the plaintiff.
