Banner Witcoff attorneys Justin Philpott and Brad Van Pelt will present on strategies for prosecuting patents with an eye toward successful litigation at the 32nd All Ohio Annual Institute on Intellectual Property, on October 12 at 10:45 AM EDT.
Both Justin and Brad are former U.S. patent examiners who are also experienced patent prosecutors and litigators. Their presentation, titled “Prosecution Strategies for Litigation: Thinking Beyond the PTO,” will explore prosecution strategies from the perspective of the examiner, and will show how some of these strategies can be applied to improve claim language using real-world examples from litigated patents.
