Shareholder Anna King will present at the 2026 AM IP Practice in Japan Pre-Meeting in Washington, DC on October 27 and 28.
Anna’s presentation, “Trademark Modernization Act Practice and Its Impact on Japanese Trademark Owners,” will explore the extent that expungement and reexamination proceedings being used in practice following the introduction of the Trademark Modernization Act, and the trends that have emerged.
Anna previously served as chair to the AIPLA’s Trademark Treaties and International Law Committee and has been an active member of AIPLA throughout her career.
