Before joining the firm full-time, Hayden spent two summers as a summer associate and clerked part-time during his third year of law school. Hayden has experience in patent prosecution with a focus in technical areas including electronics, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, encryption, and blockchain.
Hayden began his career as an electrical engineer at Rockwell Collins (now Collins Aerospace), and gained industry experience in the areas of radio and satellite communications. Additionally, Hayden was a patent agent at a small intellectual property law firm in northern Colorado prior to attending law school, where he focused on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
Hayden received his Juris Doctor at the George Washington University Law School, and received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Miami (Ohio) University, and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.
