Banner & Witcoff congratulates clients, Microsoft, NIKE and Nokia, for their designs honored at the 2009 IDEA awards for design excellence.

Of specific note, Microsoft received a silver medal for its Arc Notebook Mouse and a bronze medal for its Shell Laptop Concept.  NIKE was honored with a gold medal for their Trash Talk shoe, a bronze medal for the Hyperdunk shoe and a bronze for the LunaRacer shoe.  Nokia received a bronze medal for the design on their Flagship Store in Sao Paolo, Brazil.  Additionally, a project associated with Nokia’s VERTU brand was awarded a silver medal.  All 2009 IDEA winners are featured in BusinessWeek.

The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) program, presented by The Industrial Designers Society of America, is the premier international competition honoring design excellence in products, ecodesign, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts.
