In February, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruled in favor of firm client Mentor Graphics Corp., and denied an inter partes review petition filed by Synopsys, Inc. It marked the first time a petition was denied in full since the new America Invents Act proceeding took effect in September 2012.
Mentor Graphics is represented in this matter by Banner & Witcoff attorneys Christopher L. McKee and Michael S. Cuviello.
