Banner Witcoff attorneys Robert Katz and Richard Stockton will speak at the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) 2019 Design Rights Boot Camp in Chicago.
Scheduled to take place August 5-6 at Chicago-Kent College of Law, the “Design Rights Boot Camp is a first of its kind two-day comprehensive CLE program designed for both new and experienced IP practitioners who wish to learn about protecting and enforcing designs in all areas of IP, including design patents, copyright and trademark dress,” according to the AIPLA.
Rob and Rich will both speak on August 6. Rob will lead a program on pre-filing considerations in design patent litigation, and Rich will be on a panel examining the constitutionality of getting trade dress on expired design patents.
