Robert Katz and Richard Stockton Present at USPTO International Design Forum

Shareholders Robert Katz and Richard Stockton will speak at the 2025 International Design Forum hosted at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on Wednesday, May 7.

During the session titled “Beyond the USPTO: Design Trends and Developments Around the Globe,” Robert will present, “Designs in 2025 – A Move Away from ‘Physicality Requirements’.”

Richard will present “A Delegate’s View of the Riyadh Design Law Treaty – What Happened, How We Got There, and What It Means for Design Protection Across the Globe.”

USPTO’s International Design Forum will consist of three sessions that bring together industrial design professionals from the USPTO and the private sector. Speakers will examine recent trends and developments in industrial design protection and offer a first-hand report on the adoption of the Riyadh Design Law Treaty in November 2024.
