Banner Witcoff’s Rob Katz will present on US Patents and Designs at the New Zealand Intellectual Property Attorneys (NZIPA) Annual Conference on Friday, September 8 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Rob will be giving two presentations at the conference. His first presentation titled, Utility Patent Application Strategies for Maximizing Protection under US Law, will provide attendees with best practices for utility patent applications in the US.
His second presentation, Recent US Design Patent Developments, and Application Tips, will explore cases that played a key role in design patent law developments witnessed over the past year in the US.
Rob’s attendance at the NZIPA Annual Conference is sponsored by the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI). Rob holds two leadership roles for FICPI: President of the US Chapter of FICPI and Vice President of the FICPI CET Committee.
According to its website, the NZIPA maintains a representative group of registered patent and trademark attorneys in New Zealand and assists in developing, promoting, and maintaining the integrity of the laws and regulations relating to intellectual property matters.
