Banner Witcoff attorneys Josh Davenport, Mercedes Meyer, and Brad Van Pelt are set to speak at the 2023 IPO Annual Meeting taking place September 10-12 in Boston.
Josh’s presentation titled, Use of AI/ChatGPT in Patent Prosecution, will take place on Tuesday, September 12 from 9:15-10:15 am EDT. Josh and his co-speakers will discuss the current capabilities of ChatGPT and other AI programs, including the practical, legal, and ethical issues presented by various uses of these programs in patent prosecution.
Mercedes will be a panelist on The Current Status and Future of Functional Claiming, Enablement, and Sufficiency after Amgen v. Sanofi, on Monday, September 11 from 2:15-3:15 pm. She and her co-panelists will examine enablement and sufficiency concepts in patent law and how they may be affected by the Amgen v. Sanofi decision.
Brad will be a facilitator for the lunch workshop: KPI Reference Guide – Patent Agents, on Monday, September 11 from 1:30-2 pm EDT. Attendees will learn how KPIs can be used to leverage their IP and conduct effective management.
