Banner Witcoff’s Richard Stockton was quoted in a recent World Trademark Review (WTR) article, “‘A historic and watershed moment’: WIPO member states agree on monumental international design treaty after two decades of negotiations.”
The article outlines the final provisions of the international Riyadh Design Law Treaty, which were agreed upon after 20 years of debate and two weeks of final negotiations in Saudi Arabia in November. Stockton, who attended the negotiations as chair of the INTA Designs Education and Resources Subcommittee, shared his insights with WTR.
