The USPTO’s new examiner count system goes into effect

A new formula has been implemented for crediting patent examiners with “counts” for certain actions. These significant changes to the examiner “count system” were announced by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on September 30, 2009, and took effect this week.
