Faraj assists in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications while participating in litigation matters including invalidity and infringement opinions. Faraj has experience with a diverse range of technologies including wireless telecommunications, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, simulations, video coding, software, electronic circuit design, computer networks, semiconductor devices, control systems, and medical devices.
Before joining Banner Witcoff, Faraj was a patent examiner at the USPTO. As a patent examiner, his primary focus was related to applications within the simulations and modeling field. He obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. As part of his studies, he focused on power electronics, control systems, and device physics.
