In MSN and Sourcing Journal, Banner Witcoff shareholder Kirk Sigmon weighs in on how companies’ copyrighted works could be impacted by a new bill proposing how AI models leverage intellectual property.
“The way in which I look at it is to say that it is agnostic to small IP, big IP. It’s just talking about copyright; it’s writ large,” said Sigmon. “It does seem to set up a system which would effectively kill the ability to train with large language models.”
