The Kauffman Foundation recently unveiled the Kauffman Founders School, an online video education program that will teach entrepreneurs best practices in areas that are not typically covered in other training programs. The program is designed so entrepreneurs can learn anywhere, any time and immediately apply the lessons to their businesses.
Peter D. McDermott will present a multi-lecture module on intellectual property, which includes information on IP strategy, IP protection & avoiding infringement, patents, trade secrets, copyright, trademarks, IP & employees and IP licensing. The curriculum will include suggestions for related readings that enhance lessons, insights from other leading experts, and tools and resources to help entrepreneurs implement their new knowledge.
