Banner Witcoff attorney Darrell G. Mottley will speak at the Cleveland Intellectual Property Lawyers Association’s (CIPLA) International Committee meeting on Nov. 21.
Darrell will discuss the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, which governs the international registration of industrial designs. The agreement went into effect in the U.S. in 2015, allowing U.S. applications to file a single international design application to obtain protection in multiple countries.
Darrell will highlight the agreement’s key features, examine its implications, and offer practice tips. He has spoken and written on this topic several times, including for a practice note published in Thomson Reuters Practical Law.
