Shareholder Darrell Mottley will be part of a panel during the fourth session of The Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies (ET) Partnership Series. This event will be hosted both virtually and at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on Wednesday, September 27.
The presenters will explore various intellectual property policy issues regarding AI tools and data. Darrell’s panel, titled “Practitioners’ Evaluation and Use of AI,” will discuss AI use cases in IP practice, how practitioners evaluate potential commercial AI offerings, and the professional responsibility considerations that arise from the use of AI.
Darrell joins the panel on behalf of the ABA after being appointed as a member to the AI Task Force, a group created to help identify the impacts of AI in the legal industry.
