Banner & Witcoff welcomes Benjamin Koopferstock and Javier A. Liceaga to the Washington, D.C., office as associates.
Mr. Koopferstock focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of computer software, electronic circuits, analytics, supply chain management, databases, user interfaces, consumer electronics, seismic exploration and seismic data analysis.
He earned his J.D. from the Washington & Lee University School of Law and his B.S. in computer engineering from Southern Methodist University.
Mr. Liceaga focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of both domestic and foreign patent applications. He has industry experience in a variety of technologies, including telecommunications and computer software. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 27 years working as an engineer and technical manager for various corporations.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, magna cum laude; M.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Johns Hopkins University; and B.S. in electrical engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
