On August 22, 2015, Banner & Witcoff clients Microsoft Corp. and NIKE Inc. were recognized for their design excellence at the Industrial Designers Society of America’s 2015 International Design Excellence Awards Gala in Seattle.
Microsoft received the Silver Award for its Microsoft Start Experience Windows 10 in the Digital Design category. NIKE was honored with the Silver Award for its NIKELAB ACG Jacket in the Sports, Leisure & Recreation category. NIKE also received a Bronze Award for its NIKE Lebron 12 shoe in the Sports, Leisure & Recreation category.
More than 1,700 projects from around the world entered the 2015 IDEA as the competition marked its 35th year and IDSA celebrated its 50th anniversary. For the first time, IDSA did not reveal which entries were awarded Gold and which received Silver until the gala.
