AI in Healthcare: Aseet Patel Participates in IEEE Milwaukee Webinar

Shareholder Aseet Patel will participate in the IEEE Milwaukee Section’s webinar titled “AI in Healthcare: Transforming X-Ray Radiology and Drug R&D with Two Different Approaches with Machine Learning and Machine Reasoning,” on Thursday, November 30 at 3pm CT. Aseet will introduce the speakers and moderate the live Q&A after the webinar.

The keynote speakers include Dr. Khai Pham, founder and CEO of ThinkingNodeLife.ai and founding board member of KWAAI.ai, and Najib Akram with GE HealthCare.

The webinar will be divided into two topics. In the first topic titled, “Distributed Reasoning AI and why it matters for Life Sciences,” Dr. Pham will speak about the crucial differences between Pattern Recognition and Reasoning and why it matters based on the problem you want to solve.

In the second topic titled, “Improving Display Consistency of Radiographic Images Using Deep Learning,” Najib from GE Healthcare will discuss the feasibility of using deep learning techniques to reduce inconsistency in initial display presentation and improve user workflow. The US Patent and Trademark Office granted his AI innovations, US Patent 11,615,508 (https://patents.google.com/patent/US11615508B2) in March 2023, and the innovation is used in GE Healthcare’s Helix 2.0 image processing product (https://www.gehealthcare.com/products/helix-advanced-image-processing) that is used by radiologists and medical professionals everyday to save lives.
