Banner & Witcoff is pleased to announce that Peter McDermott has been appointment to Chair of the Business Law Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association. The MBA’s Business Law Section has more than 2,400 members and works to improve the practice of both in-house and outside business counsel through seminars, practical forums, legislation and committee activity in a wide variety of areas such as: intellectual property, high technology, small business, bankruptcy, banking and commercial law. Mr. McDermott has said that educational programming will continue to be given a high priority by the Business Law Section Council.
