Erik S. Maurer is a new “Global Fellow” in the Federal Circuit Bar Association.
The FCBA, with support from the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, invited Mr. Maurer and other emerging legal leaders to attend an intensive learning program taught by influential judges and practitioners from the United States and Germany. The selective group includes 12 attorneys from Europe, 12 attorneys from the United States and two attorneys from Asia, who will specifically focus on the policy and practical issues involved in the operation of global patent systems.
The Global Fellows will convene for two sessions, first in Washington, D.C., from Oct. 7-10, 2014, and then in Munich from March 10-13, 2015.
