Banner Witcoff’s Rich Stockton will speak on IP protection strategies for software interfaces (GUIs) at the Intellectual Property Owners 2022 Annual Meeting on September 20 at 11 am PT.
The session, titled “Form vs. Function: Protecting IP in GUIs and Software Design,” will provide an overview of the various IP protection strategies that can apply to software interfaces. Rich and his co-speakers will focus on issues related to functionality and explore how too little, or too much of it affects options for IP protection.
