Banner Witcoff attorney Aseet Patel was recently selected to serve on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ (IEEE) Industry Engagement Committee for Region 4.
As its project lead of industry-themed events, Aseet is tasked with identifying innovative companies to showcase at IEEE chapter events. IEEE Region 4 spans Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
The IEEE also appointed Aseet to be a Brand Ambassador for IEEE Power & Energy Society Day 2021 events, which promote innovations in the power and energy industry for the entire month of April. The IEEE PES includes battery manufacturers, electric smart grid vendors, oil and gas companies, solar energy providers, and others. Banner Witcoff is IP counsel to many companies in the power and energy industry.
