Banner Witcoff is sponsoring a reception on Nov. 6 following an Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) program at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Presented by IPLAC’s Amicus Committee, the program will offer tips for excellence in IP appellate advocacy. Banner Witcoff attorney Robert H. Resis, who chairs the Amicus Committee, will speak about opportunities to gain experience in IP appellate advocacy through work with the committee.
Banner Witcoff attorney Charles W. Shifley is president of IPLAC, the country’s oldest bar association devoted exclusively to intellectual property matters. The association is made up of more than 1,000 members with interests in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
