Banner Witcoff is sponsoring the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago’s (IPLAC) annual dinner on Oct. 17 at The Standard Club in Chicago.
Now in its 125th year, the event honors the federal judiciary. At this year’s dinner, IPLAC will present U.S. Magistrate Judge Sidney Schenkier of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois with its Distinguished Judicial Service Award.
Banner Witcoff attorney Charles W. Shifley is president of IPLAC, the country’s oldest bar association devoted exclusively to intellectual property matters. The association is made up of more than 1,000 members with interests in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
