Ronan Lonergan concentrates on patent prosecution within the mechanical, electronic, and computer systems arts, and has experience in supporting clients in matters related to computer and network architecture, sensor technology and activity recognition, medical devices, athletic equipment, and business methods. Ronan is currently engaged in patent portfolio management for multiple Fortune 500 client companies.
Ronan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an Honors Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College Dublin, Ireland, where he was awarded the first class honors gold medal for his graduating class. At the graduate level, Ronan was awarded the MIT Energy Initiative Fellowship, and conducted research at the MIT Media Lab, focusing on the design of novel structures for improving energy performance in architecture.
