D.C. Bar President Darrell G. Mottley presents the State of the Bar at the 2012 Judicial and Bar Conference honoring the 40th anniversary of the D.C. Bar

Members of the judiciary, D.C. Bar members and others in the legal community will celebrate the Bar’s 40th anniversary at this joint conference conducted by the D.C. courts and the D.C. Bar.

The event will begin with reports on the state of the courts and Bar. Reports will be followed by a luncheon honoring the 40th anniversary of the Bar. After lunch, Bruce MacEwen, president of Adam Smith, Esq., LLC; and former D.C. Bar president Jamie S. Gorelick, co-chair of the ABA Commission on Ethics 20/20 and partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, will present Reflections:  The D.C. Bar @ 40, about the future of the legal profession and the administration of justice.

Tickets to the conference are $80 per person.  Conference delegates will receive copies of the limited edition publication, Legends in the Law, a compilation of in-depth interviews with 57 of the D.C. Bar’s most notable leaders.
