Scheduled Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and as needed

Banner & Witcoff’s Chicago, IL office is seeking a full-time Applications Administrator. This individual will be detail-oriented, have strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, be a team player, and have exceptional customer service skills.

Job Summary: The Applications Administrator will be responsible for supporting, administration and maintenance of all software applications with a special emphasis on development of and modifications to the SharePoint environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Applications Administrator will respond to all incoming requests for service or incident notifications for the firm’s software products. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user issues. Problem resolution may involve using diagnostic tools, contacting vendors and/or providing in-person, hands-on, or remote assistance at the user’s workstation. From time to time, the employee may be required to perform other duties or special projects as assigned by his/her supervisor or manager.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience working with software applications in a client facing role
  • Minimum three years of experience maintaining and developing SharePoint environments
  • Previous law firm experience preferred
  • Prior desk side support experience
  • Working Conditions:
  • On-call availability as needed. Standard work week is 35 hours/week
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Shared professional office environment
  • May require installation/troubleshooting work under desks and other work areas
  • Ability to lift computers, monitors, printers, etc. in excess of 50 lbs
  • Management may require work to be performed before or after business hours and weekends with little notice
