During the webinar, panelists will discuss the basics of the myth of meritocracy and how it impacts the legal profession and its long-term D&I consequences. Traditional merit-based hiring practices exclude candidates that could not afford, or get admitted to, a top-tier law school or do not have the same backgrounds as decision-makers in law firms and corporate legal departments. The panel intends to provide practical steps to raise awareness of and address the myth of meritocracy.
