The Super Lawyers list represents the top five percent of attorneys in the state based on a survey of more than 45,000 lawyers across the state.
Nine attorneys are also named “Illinois Rising Stars” by Law and Politics in 2009. They include Matthew P. Becker, Scott A. Burow, Michael J. Harris, Michael L. Krashin, Aimee B. Kolz, Erik S. Maurer, Charles L. Miller, Jason S. Shull and Richard S. Stockton. These attorneys were selected based on the criteria that they are 40 years old or younger or have practiced law for 10 years or less.

The objective of the Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel.
